AIM School’s First Day in the New Building

The anticipation of this day has been building in Svay Pak for more than 5 years.

For many, education was just a dream or luxury, but as of yesterday has now become a reality.

Our accredited, award-winning school has only been able to serve 400 students at a time, with hundreds more on our wait list. We’ve seen how impactful education is for the community – it changes the way they view their children and how they view themselves.

EXPLOITATION CAN STOP AS PREVENTION BEGINS.

We knew we had to do something more, and with the help of our partners and donors, we officially began classes this week at our brand new 4-story AIM School facility!

With capacity for 1,500 students, we are bursting with excitement that we’re finally here.
Thank you to everyone who saw the need and stepped up to see it through.

A little about Agape International Mission, is that they approach the problems in Svay Pak with what they call the Holistic Approach.

Defeating a complex, decentralized problem like child sex trafficking requires a holistic strategy that involves survivors, law enforcement and the community. Our programs PREVENT sex trafficking, and work to RESCUE, RESTORE and REINTEGRATE survivors of this horrible crime. Through this approach, AIM is committed to lifelong and community-wide transformation that is effective and lasting.

Each program has evolved out of a need we saw while working on the ground in Cambodia, and each program contributes to the success of the others. Read more about each of our programs and how we PreventRescueRestore, and Reintegrate below.
